Abstract From the Canadian patent

An electrolytic water producing method and device can control the electrolytic degree of electrolytic water discharged from an electrolyzes having anode and cathode chambers partitioned by an ion-permeable barrier membrane so as to produce electrolytic water having the desired pH value in accordance with the pH value, electric conductivity, oxidation-reduction potential and ion, concentration. The electrolytic degree of the electrolytic water is controlled by injecting a regulated electrolyte solution into raw water to be supplied into the electrolyzes, regulating the flow quantity of the raw water and/or the electrolytic water discharged from the electrolyzes, and/or varying the capacity …

Why it's free to use

  • Filed February 21, 1994 and granted August 8, 2000. A Canadian patent filed from October 1, 1989 lasts 20 years from filing, so its term ended February 21, 2014.
  • A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by February 21, 2016.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
