A clock synchronizing circuit comprises a voltage controlled oscillator (VCO) for producing an output signal whose oscillation frequency changes in response to control signals. A phase comparator compares a phase of an input signal and a phase of the output signal to thereby generate a phase difference signal. A filter filters the phase difference signal to thereby output a filtered phase difference signal. A frequency synchronizing circuit responsive to the filtered phase difference signal generates a first compensation signal for controlling a frequency of the output signal. A phase synchronizing circuit responsive to the filtered phase difference signal generates a second compensation …

Why it's free to use
- Filed January 26, 1994 and granted August 10, 1999. A Canadian patent filed from October 1, 1989 lasts 20 years from filing, so its term ended January 26, 2014.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by January 26, 2016.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
