The device comprises an input port for receiving the binary signal, a clamping circuit, a feedback network a summing node, and an output port. The input port is connected to a capacitor for AC coupling the binary signal to the summing node. The clamping circuit is also connected to the summing node. The feedback network includes an input and an output which are also connected to the summing node. Why it's free to use

  • Filed January 19, 1994 and granted January 26, 1999. A Canadian patent filed from October 1, 1989 lasts 20 years from filing, so its term ended January 19, 2014.
  • A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by January 19, 2016.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
