Abstract From the Canadian patent

A zero-pressure accumulating conveyor including a bed defined by rotatable rollers mounted in parallel sidewalls and powered by an endless chain. Pneumatic actuators lift the drive chain into engagement with the rollers to empower same. Sensor rollers divide the bed into distinct zones. Sensor rollers are retained in operative position relative to the conveyor bed by unique sensor brackets. A primary sensor roller bracket includes a bore with a piston movable therewithin; the cooperating secondary sensor roller bracket is spring biased in a first direction. Why it's free to use

  • Filed July 2, 1992. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended July 2, 2012.
  • A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by July 2, 2014.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
