Abstract From the Canadian patent

An object of the present invention is to shorten the working time for high pressure slip casting. There is provided a composition for high pressure casting slip essentially consisting of first starting powder forming a frame of a mold body and second starting powder forming the frame of the mold body and acting as a plastic agent wherein the first and second starting powder is uniformly mixed in a dry condition. "Slip" of a minimum water content is easily prepared by the composition to effect optimal fluidity of the slip so that the water is removed from the slip in a short time during a casting process.

Why it's free to use

  • Filed March 24, 1993 and granted June 3, 1997. A Canadian patent filed from October 1, 1989 lasts 20 years from filing, so its term ended March 24, 2013.
  • A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by March 24, 2015.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
