Abstract From the Canadian patent

Window covering (1) at least provided with a first beam (3) connected to a window recess in addition to a second beam (4) and one or more cord members (2) tensioned therebetween for supporting and guiding a covering between the first and second beam wherein, at least one beam can be carried by means of a tensioning means from an active position, in which the or each cord (2) is tensioned, into a second position in which the cord (2) is slackened and , vice versa, whereby the window covering is easily removed in order for instance to clean the glass plate arranged in the window recess.
