The present invention is directed to an electrode (1) for use in measuring low level signals amidst competing noise signals. The electrode (1) includes an electrically non-conductive substrate (2) having a closed loop (3) of electrical conductive and adhesive material carried by the substrate (2) which defines therein an open area on the substrate (2). A first electrically conductive terminal (4) is embedded within the closed loop (3) of electrically conductive and adhesive material. Within the open area is an inner mass (6) of electrically conductive and adhesive material. The inner mass (6) of electrically conductive and adhesive material is spaced from the closed loop (3). The …

Why it's free to use
- Filed March 26, 1992. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended March 26, 2012.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by March 26, 2014.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
