Disclosed herein is a surgical drape which while being available for all surgical procedures, it particularly well suited for modified lithotomy and pelviscopy procedures. In both procedures, the patient is usually laying face-up on the operating room table with the legs extended into the air off the end of the table. The drape of the present invention provides added coverage in the areas beside the patient and below the table due to the overlapping nature of the components of the surgical drape.

Why it's free to use
- Filed September 1, 1993. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended September 1, 2013.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by September 1, 2015.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
