A radio system has a control centre (10) for providing signals for transmission to a plurality of radio transmitters (13 14, 15 and 16) each connected to the central source by a digital data link (12). A delay equaliser (11) measures the variable transfer delay of each data link and adjusts the transfer delay of the transfer links to equalise the transfer delays to transmitters so that, the signals from the control can be transmitted from the transmitters substantially in time synchronism.

Why it's free to use
- Filed May 22, 1992 and granted September 22, 1998. A Canadian patent filed from October 1, 1989 lasts 20 years from filing, so its term ended May 22, 2012.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by May 22, 2014.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
