A liquid tin-containing antifoulant composition is injected into a metal-walled thermal cracking reactor tuba concurrently with the, injection of a gaseous stream (preferably a steam-diluted C2-C4 alkane stream), through a nozzle of an injection quill which is positioned in the center region of the reactor tube substantially parallel to the flow of the gaseous stream. A liquid tin-containing antifoulant is injected into a metal-walled thermal cracking reactor tube through a nozzle of an injection quill at a temperature of about 1000-1300°F while a gaseous stream (preferably a steam-diluted C2-C4 alkane stream) flows through the reactor tube, followed by raising the temperature to about …

Why it's free to use
- Filed October 29, 1993 and granted January 11, 2000. A Canadian patent filed from October 1, 1989 lasts 20 years from filing, so its term ended October 29, 2013.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by October 29, 2015.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
