A cart of moulded material includes a cargo container having a bottom wall upwardly, and outwardly extending side walls a front wall, a back wall and an open top bounded by an L-shaped flange. A peripheral girdle having a hollow construction an outer, wall, a substantially vertical inner wall and an L-shaped bottom wall is connected to the cargo container along the L-shaped flange. The outer wall of the peripheral girdle has a protrusion on its periphely which acts as a bumper. A pair of front wheels having a, diameter approximately one-fifth of the overall length of the cart are located, approximately one-third of the length of the bottom wall from the front wall.
