A hearing aid having an integrated circuit including one oscillator is provided. The frequency of the oscillator is varied by varying the capacitance of the integrated circuit. Further, the frequency of the oscillator can be selected digitally. At least two capacitive components are integrated in the integrated circuit as partial capacitors, with which the frequency of the oscillatory can be selected. At least one of the partial capacitors is selectively connected to the oscillator through an integrated switch.

Why it's free to use
- Filed June 25, 1993. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended June 25, 2013.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by June 25, 2015.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
