The method for detecting the sulfidoleukotrienes sLT of the group LTC4, LTD4 and LTE4 by a single immunoenzymatic ELISA assay is based on the interaction between one or several monoclonal anti-sLT antibodies and an sLT conjugated to a revealing enzyme. A biological sample, wherein a content of sLT is assumed is contacted, with a monoclonal anti-sLT antibody bound to a carrier. After the sLTs present in the sample are bound to the said antibody a, conjugate of an sLT with a revealing enzyme is added to the charged carrier. Finally the amount of the conjugate bound to the carrier is evaluated, which amount is in an inverse correlation with the sLT bound to the carrier. The method is useful …

Why it's free to use
- Filed September 25, 1992. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended September 25, 2012.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by September 25, 2014.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
