A circuit is provided for generating RF signals for electronically scanned antennas and in particular for TACAN systems, and a phase shifter particularly suitable for such circuit. Instead of using circuits based on big Butler-matrices, as in the prior art, a small Butler-matrix is used for combining a limited number of outputs of a power divider and, by combining further the remaining outputs of the power divider and the few outputs of the Butler-matrix through the use of electromagnetic combiners a plurality of, RF signals suitable for electronically scanned antennas are obtained with a remarkable accuracy and a comparatively simple circuity. 16

Why it's free to use
- Filed May 4, 1993. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended May 4, 2013.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by May 4, 2015.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
