A saddle (12) is provided having essentially the same contour as the glass (18) that contacts it during the lamination process; and at least the surface of the saddle has an essentially identical coefficient of heat expansion and contraction as the glass (18) so that there is no significant slippage of the glass with respect to the saddle as the glass and polymer plastic film are heated and cooled. Why it's free to use
- Filed October 16, 1991. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended October 16, 2011.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by October 16, 2013.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
