A zeolitic material with a crystalline structure of MFI type has a ratio of silica to alumina which is lower than 26, and is hydrothermally prepared without organic template reagents or seeding procedures. Crystalline structure is obtained by forming a mixture of a silicon dioxide source, an alkali metal hydroxide an aluminum, source and water, all reactants with the following molar ratios:, see. fig. 1 from 14 to 22;, see. fig. 2 from 0.05 to 0.08; see. fig. 3 from 0.08 to 0.11;, see. fig. 4 from 14 to 22; where M is an alkali metal, and reacting the mixture at a temperature from 160 to 180°C for 40 - 80 hours. The material is characterized by X-ray diffraction and has, good cracking …

Why it's free to use
- Filed March 30, 1993 and granted January 19, 1999. A Canadian patent filed from October 1, 1989 lasts 20 years from filing, so its term ended March 30, 2013.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by March 30, 2015.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
