Abstract From the Canadian patent

The filter comprises first and second oscillating circuits tuned by voltage-controlled varicap diodes. It comprises varicap diodes coupled between the first and second varicap diodes. The varicap diodes for the tuning of the oscillating circuits and the coupling varicap diodes between the first oscillating circuit and the second oscillating circuit are controlled by a same control voltage to obtain the tuning of the filter to its working frequency and the critical coupling of the two oscillating circuits. Application: portable radio transceivers. FIGURE 1

Why it's free to use

  • Filed March 12, 1993. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended March 12, 2013.
  • A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by March 12, 2015.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
