A central region of an isolator diaphragm used in a pressure transmitter, has a substantially flat shape at an undeflected position near room temperature and has a depressed shape at a deflected position at a colder temperature. The isolator diaphragm is mounted over a shaped concavity in a transmitter body with a concave shape which corresponds to the depressed diaphragm shape to reduce output error.

Why it's free to use
- Filed October 25, 1991. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended October 25, 2011.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by October 25, 2013.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
