An analog feedback rank order filter electronic circuit for receiving a number N of analog input signals (V1, V2, ... VN) and reproducing at its output (VO) the magnitude of that one of the input signals having a magnitude which is the Kth largest among the magnitudes of the N input signals K being an ad-, justable rank parameter in the range of 1 to N comprising: N comparator sub-, circuits a summation subcircuit, an integrator subcircuit and means for generating a control signal whose magnitude selects the desired rank parameter K.

Why it's free to use
- Filed December 23, 1992. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended December 23, 2012.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by December 23, 2014.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
