A chandelier frame made from rings (30 32) and spokes (40) is provided. The rings are adapted for supporting ornaments and the spokes are attached to the rings for supporting the rings preferably coaxially. The rings and spokes are attached to one another by interengaging locking means (56 58) which mechanically and detachably secure the rings and spokes to one another. The rings and spokes may be formed entirely from nonstressed metal and most preferably are cut from flat sheet metal.

Why it's free to use
- Filed June 13, 1991 and granted August 25, 1998. A Canadian patent filed from October 1, 1989 lasts 20 years from filing, so its term ended June 13, 2011.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by June 13, 2013.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
