The present invention relates to a technology relating to a speech synthesis system, and utilizes a periodic waveform decomposition and relocation method which is a coding method in which signals of voiced sound interval among original speech are decomposed into wavelets each of which corresponds to a speech waveform for one period made by each glottal pulse and the wavelets are respectively coded and stored, and is a technology by which the wavelets nearest to the positions where the wavelets are to be located are selected from stored wavelets and decoded and superposed to each other such that original sound quality can be maintained and duration and pitch frequency of speech segment can …

Why it's free to use
- Filed October 29, 1992. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended October 29, 2012.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by October 29, 2014.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
