Abstract From the Canadian patent

In a vertical deflection distortion correction circuit there are provided a vertical deflection output circuit a, damping circuit, a vertical deflection yoke and a resonance circuit. A current is resonated in the resonance circuit and on the other hand, a vertical deflection current is derived from the vertical deflection output circuit and supplied to the vertical deflection yoke. Then the, resonated current is superimposed on the vertical deflection current. The superimposed vertical deflection current is finally supplied to the vertical deflection yoke. The resonance circuit is constructed of an LC parallel circuit and a switching element circuit. The switching element circuit is …

Why it's free to use

  • Filed October 1, 1992 and granted July 16, 2002. A Canadian patent filed from October 1, 1989 lasts 20 years from filing, so its term ended October 1, 2012.
  • A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by October 1, 2014.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
