Abstract From the Canadian patent

EPOXY RESIN COMPOSITION, (D#80,952-F), ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The invention is an epoxy resin composition. Diol initiators are reacted with alkylene oxide and 1 to 5 wt % epoxy resin. The epoxy resin is added internally along the length of, the diol chain to yield a modified polyol of molecular weight 2000 to 5000. The modified polyol is subjected to reductive amination to yield a polyamine. This polyamine is mixed with an epoxy base resin and cured to product epoxy resins demonstrating improved strength and adhesion. E:\JACKIE\80952.APP

Why it's free to use

  • Filed October 1, 1992. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended October 1, 2012.
  • A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by October 1, 2014.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
