Abstract From the Canadian patent

The invention relates to a multispectral sensor with several filter and sensor elements for different spectral ranges of a radiation to be measure. The object of the invention is to so further develop a multispectral sensor of this type that it can be manufactured as a discreet component with small dimensions and has a high measuring accuracy whilst obtaining a high output, signal. This object is achieved in that the beam is broken down by a optical device into several partial beams and reflected onto filters. Behind the filters are located radiation-sensitive elements which detect the spectral, range corresponding to the transmission range of the in each case upstream filter. The remaining …

Why it's free to use

  • Filed September 30, 1992. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended September 30, 2012.
  • A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by September 30, 2014.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
