Abstract From the Canadian patent

First, second, third and fourth MOS transistors each have a gate terminal, a first current flowing terminal and a, second current flowing terminal. The first current flowing terminal of the first MOS transistor is coupled to the first current flowing terminal of the second MOS transistor at a first voltage node; the first current flowing terminal of the third MOS transistor is coupled to the second current flowing terminal of the first MOS transistor at a first output node; the first current flowing terminal of the fourth MOS transistor is coupled to the second current flowing terminal of the second MOS transistor at a second output node; and the second current flowing terminal of the …

Why it's free to use

  • Filed September 4, 1992 and granted May 5, 1998. A Canadian patent filed from October 1, 1989 lasts 20 years from filing, so its term ended September 4, 2012.
  • A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by September 4, 2014.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
