In a system for evacuating air from moulds for vulcanizing tyres the air and vulcanization gases trapped in the various interstices of the mould (1) are evacuated to the outside of the moulding part through a part which serves as a vent (3) and which contains one or more direct passage chambers (4) of constant width on the so-called bottleneck part which are dimensioned so as to prevent the passage of the rubber.

Why it's free to use
- Filed March 6, 1991 and granted March 9, 1999. A Canadian patent filed from October 1, 1989 lasts 20 years from filing, so its term ended March 6, 2011.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by March 6, 2013.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
