A method of molding a fuel tank wherein a premolded two pieces of baffle plates are mounted on a blow-pin which is then inserted in a molten parison of a thermoplastic resin, the split metal molds are closed under this condition, a pressurized fluid is fed thereto, and said baffle plates are melt-adhered onto the tank while it is being molded. This method makes it possible to provide two baffle plates in the fuel tank that is being molded and, hence, to produce a fuel tank without extremely thin portions.

Why it's free to use
- Filed December 5, 1991 and granted August 28, 2001. A Canadian patent filed from October 1, 1989 lasts 20 years from filing, so its term ended December 5, 2011.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by December 5, 2013.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
