Abstract From the Canadian patent

Abstract of the Disclosure, A novel high resiliency (HR) polyurethane resin foam composition is provided which contains phosphorus compounds to improve the static fatigue properties thereof. An unusual benefit of using certain phosphorus compounds in HR foams is that improved compression set characteristics are obtained. As might be expected flammability, properties are also improved. Some preferred phosphorus additives include, but are not limited to phosphates phosphonates, phosphites and, phosphine oxides such as tri(.beta.-chloroethyl)phosphate; tri(.beta.-chloropro-pyl)phosphate; dichloroethyl methylphosphate; tetrakis(2-chloroethyl) ethylene diphosphate; dimethyl methylphosphonate; …

Why it's free to use

  • Filed July 10, 1992. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended July 10, 2012.
  • A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by July 10, 2014.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
