Polymer protein compounds which include a polymer, such as a, polyvinyl polymer acrylic polymer, polyester polymer or polyamide polymer having a main chain, a linker which separates the polymer from the protein by at least two carbons the linker being, covalently bonded to the polymer and a protein covalently bonded to, the linker group stabilize the protein in a hostile environment. The polymer protein compounds may be made by reacting a linker with a protein to provide a linked protein reacting the linked, protein with a monomer to provide a linked protein monomer unit and , polymerizing the linked protein monomer units. The polymer protein compounds can be used to catalyze reactions in …

Why it's free to use
- Filed November 13, 1991. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended November 13, 2011.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by November 13, 2013.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
