Abstract From the Canadian patent

The present invention provides a structure of a polyacetal resin composition which further comprises a polyolefin resin to form a dispersion of an interpenetrating network structure so as to achieve excellent acid resistance, fusibility with the polyolefin resin and mechanical properties. In the melt-kneading of the polyacetal resin A as the matrix with the polyolefin resin B, a filler C having a surface tension which is at least higher than that of the component B at the melt-kneading temperature and an average particle diameter of 0.05 to 50 µm is meltkneaded in an amount satisfying the following formulae (1) and (2):, B/(A+B) = 0.05 to 0.5 (weight ratio) (1) C/(B+C) = 0.1 to 0.7 (weight …

Why it's free to use

  • Filed January 28, 1992. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended January 28, 2012.
  • A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by January 28, 2014.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
