05537, Abstract of the Disclosure, The invention is directed to a toothbrush caused to rotate by electrical means, having a rotary bristle supporting structure (38) in which the bristle supporting structure (38) is arranged at an angle with respect to a longitudinal center line (52) of a brush section (24). The bristle supporting structure (38) is driven by a bevel gear train (42), such that the drive shaft (34 75), of the bristle supporting structure (38) acts as an axial securing means for the bristle supporting structure (38).
