A housing assembly for supportively housing a circuit board in fixed engagement therewithin. The housing assembly forms a support surface for receiving the circuit board at an unlocked position. Sliding translation of the circuit board is permitted upon the support surface to position the circuit board at a locked position. Translation of the circuit board causes elastic deformation of clamps which exert clamping forces responsive thereto to affix the circuit board in position at the locking position.

Why it's free to use
- Filed June 9, 1992 and granted August 31, 1993. A Canadian patent filed from October 1, 1989 lasts 20 years from filing, so its term ended June 9, 2012.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by June 9, 2014.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
