Abstract From the Canadian patent

56,206, ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE, An apparatus and method for processing information from a plurality of data lines having amplitude and frequency components representative of operating conditions within a turbine generator unit includes circuitry for determining the frequency of each data line in the frequency spectrum, for squaring the determined frequency of each data line, and for calculating an acceleration index as a function of the amplitude and square of the frequency. The calculated acceleration index is transmitted to a host computer where it is analyzed to determine if the data lines contain information indicative of abnormal conditions in the turbine generator unit.

Why it's free to use

  • Filed June 4, 1992. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended June 4, 2012.
  • A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by June 4, 2014.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
