Abstract From the Canadian patent

A vacuum electrical switch comprises a coil (68) arranged in the metal base plate (42) of the cartridge (38). The metal base plate (42) constitutes a current input to the contact this, input having a radial conducting path and a path forming a spiral (68), electrically connected in parallel. Why it's free to use

  • Filed May 27, 1992. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended May 27, 2012.
  • A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by May 27, 2014.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
