The invention relates to a dental amalgam capsule (10) arranged to contain mercury in a first compartment (16) and dental alloy powder in a second compartment (18) a conduit (28) being provided so , that amalgam can be dispensed by a pusher rod (66) directly from the capsule (10) into a cavity in a tooth.
