Abstract From the Canadian patent

The device (10) has en entrance (16) and an exit (18) with two low-restriction venturi sections (20, 22) placed in parallel between the entrance and exit. The entering gas flow is separated into two parts, one to pass through one venturi section and the other to pass through the other venturi section. The two parts reunite as they leave the exit. Why it's free to use

  • Filed November 9, 1990. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended November 9, 2010.
  • A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by November 9, 2012.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
