Abstract From the Canadian patent

In a process for separating relatively magnetic mineral particles Pm having magnetic susceptibilities X with Xm > O from, relatively non-magnetic particles P having magnetic, susceptibilities Xn, with Xm > Xn all said particles are suspended, in a liquid stream which is supplied to a separating container. Said container is provided with an inlet and an outlet and forms a passageway for said stream therebetween. Furthermore an arrangement of magnetizable matrix elements provided in said passageway is magnetized. Said supplying and magnetizing are conditioned in such a way, that depositions of particles are obtained predominantly upon the downstream side of said elements. From all said …

Why it's free to use

  • Filed May 19, 1992. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended May 19, 2012.
  • A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by May 19, 2014.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
