A process for producing decorated glass-ceramic articles is described, an article of crystallisable glass being first decorated with a ceramic colour and then being converted into a glass-ceramic article by heat treatment with simultaneous burning-in of the ceramic colour, is improved by treating the glass article before, decorating, for 10 minutes to 50 hours with a Br?nsted acid at temperatures between 50 and 800°C. As a result of this treatment, the surface layer of the glass article is modified in such a way that the layer of ceramiccolour sinks into the surface of the article during burning-in/ceramicising. The use properties of the glassceramic are themselves not changed as a result.

Why it's free to use
- Filed May 5, 1992. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended May 5, 2012.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by May 5, 2014.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
