Abstract From the Canadian patent

A component signal sampling circuit and reproducing circuit comprising a .DELTA.t delay circuit (5) for delaying a phase of a first analog component signal (I1) by a time .DELTA.t = (n-1)/(2fs); a first A\D converter (1) for sampling an output of the .DELTA.t delay circuit (5) by a clock of a sampling frequency fs, and for generating first digital data (O1); a 1/n frequency division circuit (4) for frequency dividing the clock of the sampling frequency fs by n (n is a positive integer other than 1); and a second A/D converter (2) for sampling a second analog component signal (I2) having the same phase as the first analog component signal (I1) by an output clock fs/n from the 1/n frequency …

Why it's free to use

  • Filed August 9, 1991 and granted June 30, 1998. A Canadian patent filed from October 1, 1989 lasts 20 years from filing, so its term ended August 9, 2011.
  • A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by August 9, 2013.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
