Abstract From the Canadian patent

In a process for allocating data sets to time vales of a consecutive sequence, each time value is stored as a data string in a field. Read-out of a given time value starts at the beginning of the data string and continues up to the selected time value. A time value can be allocated to each unit of a data string and vice versa.

Why it's free to use

  • Filed July 28, 1990. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended July 28, 2010.
  • A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by July 28, 2012.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
