The invention relates to a storage head for a blow moulding machine used for the intermittent production of multi-layer co-extruded and blow-moulded thermoplastic hollow bodies. To improve the product quality and to increase throughput, each distributor is designed as a spiral channel distributor which distributes the individual molten plastic streams uniformly at the periphery. The ejector consists of a least two concentric tubular pieces and the peripherally distributed plastic streams issue from the front face of the ejector through an annular gap into the storage space in the storage head housing below the injector.

Why it's free to use
- Filed May 28, 1991 and granted January 20, 1998. A Canadian patent filed from October 1, 1989 lasts 20 years from filing, so its term ended May 28, 2011.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by May 28, 2013.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
