60,680-014, VALVING SYSTEM WATER FLOW TO TURBINE ENGINE EMISSION SYSTEM ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE, An improved valve for controlling flow of water to a turbine engine is disclosed. A hydraulically actuated spool valve controls the volume of water flow. An inventive seal and drain system ensures that no hydraulic oil mixes with the water being directed to the turbine engine, which would increase emissions from the engine. Further the, system ensures that no water will intermix with the hydraulic fluid in the pressure chambers for the spool valve which could degrade the oil, in the hydraulic system.

Why it's free to use
- Filed March 30, 1992. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended March 30, 2012.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by March 30, 2014.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
