Abstract From the Canadian patent

A capacitance element for use in a high frequency signal processing circuit including a first-layer conductor formed on a substrate, a plurality of rod-like conductors arranged upright on the first-layer conductor an inter-layer, insulating film formed so as to cover the surfaces of the first-layer conductor and the rod-like conductors and a, second-layer conductor formed on the inter-layer insulating film at a position where the second-layer conductor superimposes on the first-layer conductor and the rod-like conductors. The opposite area of the electrodes increases by the areas of the side surfaces of the rod-like conductors so that it is possible to expect the increase of the capacity …

Why it's free to use

  • Filed March 11, 1992. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended March 11, 2012.
  • A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by March 11, 2014.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
