Abstract From the Canadian patent

A raster position adjusting circuit for controlling the raster position on a CRT, the circuit being equipped with a constant-current supply source and a voltage-controlled type current supply source which are coupled to each other. The drawing current of the voltagecontrolled type current supply source is arranged to be controllable in accordance with the output voltage from a digital-to-analog converter, thereby controlling the emitter-base voltages of first and second transistors connected to a junction point between both the current supply sources. This control of the emitter-base voltages of the first and second transistors allows the control of the direction and value of a current …

Why it's free to use

  • Filed February 26, 1992 and granted February 11, 1997. A Canadian patent filed from October 1, 1989 lasts 20 years from filing, so its term ended February 26, 2012.
  • A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by February 26, 2014.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
