In a process for analog transmission or storage of digital data the digital data are imposed on a total train of oscillations produced by the cumulative superposition of several narrow-band partial trains of oscillations. The digital data are decomposed into partial data each containing several data bits and an amplitude value from a store of values containing a number of amplitude steps is imposed on each partial train of oscillations in function of the data bits of the partial data. The invention also concerns a circuit for carrying out this process.

Why it's free to use
- Filed June 4, 1990. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended June 4, 2010.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by June 4, 2012.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
