Claude JETTE, ABSTRACT In barbecuing, food generally sticks to a fixed grill rack. This invention provides means for keeping the food "unstuck" while cooking and this is achieved by moving two adjacently disposed grilling racks, one having a fixed elevation relative to the underlying coals the other, relatively movable from a plane beneath that of the fixed rack to a plane above the fixed rack, thereby causing the food to move between movable rack and fixed rack keeping the, food "unstuck".

Why it's free to use
- Filed January 10, 1992. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended January 10, 2012.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by January 10, 2014.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
