A medical device is disclosed which may be useful for low profile gastrostomy feeding. Catheter 10 cooperates with an adjustable external bolster (32) to prevent inward tube migration and can be locked in place to eliminate tube slippage. Externally molded on the outside wall (11) of catheter (10) is a series of saw tooth rings (18) which cooperatively and adjustably fit with internal saw tooth rings (39) on bolster (32). External flanges (37,38) on bolster (32) prevent tube migration after bolster (32) has been permanently positioned on catheter (10).

Why it's free to use
- Filed November 14, 1991. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended November 14, 2011.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by November 14, 2013.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
