Abstract From the Canadian patent

Process for the preparation of linear polymers of carbon monoxide with one or more olefinically unsaturated compounds in, which polymers the units originating from carbon monoxide and the units originating from the olefinically unsaturated compounds occur in a substantially alternating order, comprising contacting the monomers at elevated temperature and pressure with a solution of a suitable catalyst, in the presence of a liquid non-polymerizable, diluent at least consisting of one or more lower aliphatic alcohols and water. Why it's free to use

  • Filed November 6, 1991. No grant is recorded for it in Canada; had it been granted, its 20-year term would have ended November 6, 2011.
  • A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by November 6, 2013.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
