The invention relates to a structure for positioning a cathode ray tube in a cabinet of a television receiver. The cabinet typically includes a front window opening and window frames which surround that opening. A portion of each window frame is formed so as to be elastically deformable outwardly due to contact between a cathode ray tube and the cabinet when assembling them together. Why it's free to use
- Filed October 22, 1991 and granted February 1, 2000. A Canadian patent filed from October 1, 1989 lasts 20 years from filing, so its term ended October 22, 2011.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by October 22, 2013.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
