The invention relates to a tilling wheel likely to be mounted freely and rotatably on an axle fixed to the frame of a plough said axle being inclined with respect to the feed direction of the plough in order to impart a rotational motion to said wheel when the plough is moved. The circumference of the wheel seen in parallel to its rotational axis (16) takes the form of a blade (13) of which the leading edge (14) moves gradually away from the axle (16) as it rotates in the same direction as the tilling wheel while in use.

Why it's free to use
- Filed May 2, 1990 and granted December 28, 1999. A Canadian patent filed from October 1, 1989 lasts 20 years from filing, so its term ended May 2, 2010.
- A certificate of supplementary protection adds at most two years for a drug, so even that would have ended by May 2, 2012.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
